 MY FIRST MONTH AS
 EXPLORE & FIND
 ESSENTIALS: A JOURNEY OF
 GROWTH AND LEARNING
The past month has been nothing short of an
adventure as I embarked on my journey with Explore
& Find Essentials, my online store dedicated to
providing must-have clothes, accessories, and tech
items. While the road has been filled with challenges,
it has also been an incredible learning experience.
Here’s a glimpse into how my first month went and
what I’ve learned along the way.
 1. WEBSITE PERFORMANCE: A
 PROMISING START
 Launching my website,
Explore & Find Essentials
 , was
a thrilling moment. I’m proud to share that my website
has seen around 10,000 visits in its first month! This
milestone has been a huge confidence booster,
showing that people are genuinely interested in
checking out what my store has to offer.
However, I quickly realized that website visits are just
the beginning. Converting those visits into sales is the
next big challenge, and it has pushed me to think
 deeply about customer experience, product
 descriptions, and engaging content.
 2. SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT:
 BUILDING CONNECTIONS
Social media has been one of the most exciting parts
of this journey. While I initially struggled with
creating content and building brand awareness, I’ve
been thrilled to see a lot of engagement from
potential customers on platforms like Facebook,
 Instagram, and TikTok.
Here’s how my social media performed in the first
 month:
 TikTok:
Instagram and Threads:  – 800+ followers
 @explore.find.esse
 @nabr049– 200+
 followers
Facebook Explore Find Essentials 687 friends
 and its growing
 Pinterest https://pin.it/2b1Lnsr8a with
 around 150 pins
From answering questions in comments to receiving
direct messages from curious shoppers, I’ve learned
the value of being approachable and responsive.
Social media is not just about promoting products—
it’s about building relationships and trust with your
 audience.
 3. CHALLENGES I FACED
No journey is complete without its fair share of
hurdles, and my first month was no exception. Some
of the key challenges I faced included:
Attracting Customers: While website visits were
high, converting those visits into sales remains a
 work in progress.
Time Management: Balancing the demands of
running an online store, managing social media,
and coordinating with suppliers has been tough
with a family and a full time job!
 Brand Awareness: Building recognition for
Explore & Find Essentials in a competitive market
is something I’m still working on.
These challenges have taught me to prioritize tasks,
delegate where possible, and stay consistent in my
 efforts.
I am also trying to find creative ways to showcase my
curated products which can be tough especially in a
 saturated environment.
4. KEY LESSONS LEARNED
Reflecting on this first month, here are some of the
 most valuable lessons I’ve learned:
Engaging Content is Key: Social media
engagement skyrocketed when I started posting
 relatable, visually appealing, and interactive
 content.
 Customer Experience Matters: From free
worldwide shipping to a seamless checkout
process, every detail contributes to building trust
 and satisfaction.
Patience is a Virtue: Success doesn’t happen
overnight. Every small win, like a positive
comment or a website visit, is a step in the right
 direction.
 5. LOOKING AHEAD
As I move into the second month, my focus will be on:
Boosting Sales: Turning website visits and social
 media engagement into tangible sales.
Expanding the Product Range: Adding more
exciting products to cater to a wider audience.
 Improving Marketing Strategies: Leveraging
SEO, Google Ads, and targeted campaigns to
 reach more people.
 FINAL THOUGHTS
The first month of Explore & Find Essentials has been
a whirlwind of emotions, challenges, and growth. I’m
grateful for every visit, comment, and interaction that
has brought me closer to my goals. While I still have
a long way to go to reach my revenue target of per
month, this first month of April 2025 has given me the
foundation and motivation to keep pushing forward.
To anyone else starting their entrepreneurial journey,
remember: every step, no matter how small, is
progress. Here’s to many more months of learning,
 growing, and succeeding
